Jacksons CI Ltd. required a website that would automate several process which were very time consuming for staff to perform. BlueBox was tailored to their requirement which resulted in members of staff being able to devote more time to doing what they do best - selling cars!

The Brief

Having had a website for several years that was difficult to update and maintain, Jacksons CI Ltd. - Jersey's premier luxury car dealer, approached BlueBox Creative to design and build a website which not only had great functionality but also allowed staff to upload all the latest used cars into a database which would then produce daily reports and increase efficiency.

BlueBox Creative developed a website which not only reflected the Jacksons brand, but also allowed users to search the used car database by make/model/price and also to produce daily reports which were emailed to staff every morning.

This enabled them to always have an up to date stock list of available cars in both Jersey and Guernsey. A by-product of the process was that when a used car was input into the system, the member of staff was able to click one button which produced a branded and formatted PDF document detailing the vehicle details and specification which could then be placed in the windscreen of the vehicle on the forecourt. This process had previously taken at least 30 minutes as it had to be done manually.

A PDF also gets produced to send to the JEP for their weekly advert of all the cars they wish to list. This used to take a salesman a whole afternoon to accomplish, it's now done automatically.

The Results

Website visits and enquiries increased and the daily reports and automated vehicle detail printouts increased efficiency and as a result, increased sales.
